#AcornSquash and eggs 🍳 kinda Brunch! So many questions on how to make, and I typically pop it in the oven at 400°F and forget about it. When I have time. . Today I didn’t, so sliced it thin, and stove top seared with olive oil, added about 1/4 cup of water to “sweat it”, aka, add moisture, a little bit of butter to “caramelize” or brown and then season with salt and pepper and garlic. . Made “squash nests” and impersonated am #egginahole situation. Served with bacon and the butteries 🥑 I’ve had in a while. The grocery store said it was “tropical avocado”. Aren’t all of them!?
