What an assessment test includes: For Early Years and Foundation Stage, prospective pupils are observed by Assessment Specialists.
For Year 1 to Year 12, pupils undergo an English and Maths proficiency test (UK School Entry Based Assessment).
Languages: Language of instruction is English.
Other Languages taught at the school are French and Arabic.
Accreditation and examinations: The BSE is a member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS). The school graduating qualifications are IGCSE’s and A Levels. The BSE is officially registered and accredited by Cambridge and Edexcel Examination Boards.
Facilities and extracurricular activities: The BSE campus, located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed, provides an extensive Gifted and Talented Program comprising of sports and arts and supported by our state-of-the art campus, consisting of the following: indoor Olympic pool, state-of-the-art theatre, football fields, gym, basketball, tennis and volley ball courts, information technology/science labs, etc. Both winter and summer camps take place during the holiday breaks, the camps are conducted by Wellspring.
Overview: CISE is accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Education, Canada, as well as the Ministry of Education in Egypt. CISE is the only School in Egypt offering a French Immersion program. We follow the Ontario curriculum in both English and French, and all students are required to take Arabic.

What an assessment includes: Literacy and numeracy are at the forefront of everyday learning. Our assessment process examines these skills as well as the student’s ability to be a critical thinker.

What an assessment test includes: Children applying for The British FS1 and FS2, or the American Pre-School and Pre-K will undergo an assessment that measures their developmental age against their chronological age. Tasks involve a series of familiar activities through which trained staff are able to assess the child’s physical, cognitive, verbal and social skills. Since we relocated to our new campus at NEWGIZA, we are ready to accept students at almost all levels in the school. Students wishing to transfer to any higher year group or grade level will be assessed in English and Maths.
School sections: El Alsson offers British and American education. For the academic year 2017-2018, we are accepting applications for both the American International Early Childhood Department (Pre-school and Pre-K), and the British International Early Years (FS1 and FS2) along with other year groups and grade levels. Parents can now choose whether they want their children to pursue British or American education from the very start.

Facilities and staff trained for dealing with special-needs children: We have Learning Support Departments in both schools, which cater to children who need general academic support.
Facilities and extracurricular activities: Having moved to its newly established campus at NEWGIZA in 2017, the school now occupies a 14-fedan site with British Primary and Secondary joined buildings as well as American Elementary and Senior joined buildings. It also has a standalone Performing Arts Hall featuring a radio room, music practice rooms, drama studios and a state of the art theatre along with a standalone Sports Hall featuring two heated indoor pools, basketball courts, a fitness gym and dance studio.
Extracurricular activities: Primary Elementary Monday Fun Club, Tuesday Fun Club, sports training and fixtures throughout the year, as well as Senior School after school extracurricular activities. What an assessment test includes: In order for the school to ensure that students are being sufficiently challenged and to find out any areas of weakness that may not have surfaced, we use the Cognitive Abilities Tests (CAT4) from GL Assessments in the UK upon entry to the school, in Grade 2 and again in Grade 5.
In Grade 6, the school follows the expected new Egyptian government protocol stipulating that all students in Grade 6 must complete the Primary Checkpoint. Please note, this exam may be subject to change if the protocol is not ratified.
In Grade 9, students take the IGCSE Core exams, and in Grade 10 students take their eight IGCSE Extended exams in their six compulsory subjects and their two electives. In Grade 12 students take the IB Diploma exams in their six chosen subject areas.
School sections: EIS early years include KG1 and KG2. Primary from Grade 1 to Grade 5, middle from Grade 6 to Grade 8 and high school from Grade 9 to Grade 12.

Facilities and extracurricular activities: The school has developed an extensive co-curricular programme within the school day. Three times a week students are given the opportunity to choose clubs that they would like to attend. Choices include: arts and crafts, music, sports, board games, debating, drama, languages, and more. Students can choose three different clubs each week and will have the opportunity to change their clubs several times a year. Overview: Heritage International School is a Canadian school, which opened in 2006. The school implements the Manitoba curriculum and provides a Manitoba High School Diploma, which allows it broad latitude in the design and implementation of its Manitoba curriculum at all levels of the school, Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12. However, being on Egyptian soil, Heritage also maintains the high ideals of Egyptian education and social values. No SAT1/SAT2 is required from Canadian graduates in Egypt. Students who are graduating from Heritage, and have not written the SAT1 and SAT2 exams can now apply to private universities in Egypt. The Canadian High School Diploma is highly recognized worldwide as one of the top respected diplomas.

What an assessment test includes: Assessments are based on grade groups, and include English and Mathematics tests. An interview with the school’s principal/director is a must to complete the application process.

Accreditation and examinations: Manitoba Provincial Exams in Grade 12. Heritage is accredited from Manitoba Education, Citizenship and Youth Department in Canada. The school is also accredited from the Egyptian Ministry of Education in Egypt.
Facilities and extracurricular activities: Heritage International School is continuously undergoing development. The main building comprises the Kindergarten to grade 12 classes. Overview: Lycée Albert Camus NEWGIZA (LAC) is a world-class French international school that follows the internationally renowned French program of education (under the auspices of the French Ministry of Education). What an assessment test includes: Our assessments cover the basic requirements a student should know before enrolling in any of our programs. We focus on assessing the basic motor skills of the student alongside educational attainment. Different assessment tools are used depending on the level and year grade of the student applying.
