With a squeezed schedule and responsibilities come sacrifices, we tend to blow-dry our hair every week for the events that come along with an active lifestyle. There are plenty of quick and easy ways to treat and protect your hair, making it look healthier and thicker.

 

1- Comb GentlyComb Gently

 

After a shower the hair becomes prone to breakage, so be careful when combing your hair, it is best to be as gentle as possible. Start from the roots slowly to the ends of your hair.

 

2- TrimmingTrimming

 

Trimming your hair every now and then is recommended to avoid rough and split ends from growing out. It’s recommended to trim it 1 cm every 5 to 7 weeks to prevent any future damage.

 

3- Don’t Wash It Every DayDon't wash it every day

 

Washing your hair every day may cause it to dry out and lose its nutrients. Try not to shampoo it on a daily basis. Instead, do it twice a week using conditioner and rinse it with cold water for more strength and shine.

 

4- Natural LightsNatural Lights

 

It’s not recommended to color your hair if it’s dry. However, if you can’t avoid having gorgeous lights for the summer, you can add lemon juice to water and spray it before you go out, or add honey to the water you use to wash your hair for natural lights.

 

 5- Deep ConditioningDeep Conditioning

 

Deep conditioning must be applied to your hair every once in a while. It’s pretty simple, after washing your hair with shampoo, towel dries it, use a sufficient amount of conditioner and start applying it to your hair. Then leave it to absorb for 20 minutes to an hour.
